Branding and collateral for Sue Scrofa, a Los Angeles band looking to be recognizable and gain more exposure.
LogoOriginally from Alabama, Sue Scrofa retains a southern sound while bringing elements of rock and pop into the mix. The logo represents the rootsy aspect of the music while still having a strong recognizable style.
Album ArtworkThe album's look and feel is simple, but iconic. Taken from an original painting by Troy Crisswell, the cover gets right to the point with a strong graphic presence yet still plays on a homey feel very familiar to the band.
Sue Scrofa Logo VariationsThe logo is easily mutated for various print and internet applications. The logo on the left is used mainly as a header in various instances on the web, while the more condensed logo on the right is used as an icon for social media. The cat ears are a small addition, but tie in with the strong graphic of the cat on the album artwork.
Business CardOnce again, the logo is used to represent the band. The small tagline "Folk-Pop Music" is interchangeable. The front is simple, and connects the viewer with all online aspects of the band. The back puts faces to the band name for a more personal touch.
WebsiteWith a clear design aesthetic in mind, the Sue Scrofa website ties in all social media aspects of the band in one location on the web. Building on a template with provided Javascript and extensive social media integration, I added HTML and CSS customization to portray the brand as effectively as possible.

BandcampAs the band's main music purchasing site and as an important tool to build a social network, the Bandcamp web page needed the Sue Scrofa treatment as well. Clean, white space with the album artwork and recognizable header clearly and cohesively brand the page.Sue Scrofa on Bandcamp
