Hi Ho Silver Oh

Art Director, Designer

Hi Ho Silver Oh was an LA-based band. As they got closer to releasing new material, they needed a strong brand and image to represent them. I stepped in to provide them with a logo, website, graphics, merch design and an overall concept for the single release of their song “What I Am Doing” including stickers, cards, graphics, a tour poster and touring materials.

A handmade look & feel was a perfect fit for the logo as the band was 100% DIY. Both the full name & the abbreviated HHSO were used interchangeably.

The graphic is based on the sound waves of the single "What I Am Doing". Each alternating color is a layer of cut out paper that was then stacked on top of each other & photographed. This became the main graphic to unify the brand.

The band needed web and print posters for tour and their residency shows.

Out of the main design came many instagram and Facebook graphics along with the band website's straightforward visual homepage. The website is easy to update from any device.
